We are very proud to announce that our Diabetes Emergency Supply Assistance Program (DESAP) has been chosen by the Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organizations (OANO) as a finalist for their Ohio Nonprofit Excellence Award. OANO's mission is to provide leadership, education, and advocacy to enhance the ability of Ohio's nonprofit organizations to serve their communities. With more than 600 nonprofit organizations representing the breadth and diversity of Ohio's charitable nonprofit sector, we are very pleased to be a finalist for this prestigious award. The awards luncheon will be held May 5 at the Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio. Each year nonprofit agencies around Ohio dedicate their limited resources to valuable programs and services in their communities. The Ohio Nonprofit Excellence Award recognizes the creativity, execution, achievement, and overall excellence of a specific project or program. We are very excited about this award and equally as proud that our DESAP has been recognized as a program worthy of the Ohio Nonprofit Excellence Award. As we prepare for our signature fundraiser, Big Brews and Blues, it's easy to lose sight of the ongoing day to day programs that make such a difference in our community. You can read more about OANO here. Additionally, we are also a finalist for the Better Business Bureau's Eclipse Integrity Awards for a second year in a row. Today we completed the final step in the process and on Tuesday, May 10 winners will be announced at The Ponitz Center over the course of the evening.
We'll keep everyone posted on how both awards come together for us! See you all at Big Brews and Blues!
