Why a Pokemon Tourney?

Riley Asher's sister has type 1 diabetes and attended Camp Ko Man She, along with hundreds of other diabetic youth in the Miami Valley. The camp means so much to the Asher family, so Riley wanted to find a way to give back. For his Eagle Scout, he has developed this tournament to help Diabetes Dayton secure a much-needed camp item: glucose tablets!

*Any brand/flavor accepted!

Why glucose tablets?

Glucose tablets are used when a person with diabetes suffers from hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. This happens a LOT at camp, where the kids are constantly active and outside in the heat. The tablets raise the blood sugar back up to a safe range. We typically use 5,000+ glucose tablets per week of camp. We appreciate your help in securing enough tablets to keep our kids healthy and happy at camp!
