Classes are taught by Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Dietitian

Open to newly diagnosed diabetics (Types 1 or 2), pre-diabetics and those interested in a refresher class

What you'll learn in our two part Class:

Explanation of the disease

Proper monitoring

Taking medications and insulin

Treating highs and lows

Introduction to meal planning

Three steps of eating well

Understanding carbs

Choosing foods and reading labels

Extras: sugar substitutes, alcohol, discretionary food

The Diabetes-Stress Connection
Diabetes and Wellness Support Group
Class Dates/Times: The second Wednesday of each month
6:00 - 7:30 pm.
Topics will include diabetes self management and prevention, stress management, healthy eating, depression, sleep and more!
