The Class is taught by Certified Diabetes Educator and Registered Dietitian

Open to newly diagnosed diabetics, pre-diabetics and those interested in a refresher class

Diabetes Survival Skills (101)
What you'll learn in our combined 101 and 102 Class:

Explanation of the disease
-
Monitoring properly
-
Taking medications and insulin
-
Treating highs and lows
-
Introduction to meal planning
-
Three steps of eating well
-
Understanding Carbs
-
Choosing foods and reading labels
-
Extras: sugar substitutes, alcohol, discretionary food

Exercise
Class Time: Third Saturday of the Month, 8:45 am to 1:00 pm
Dates: May 20th, June 17th, July 15th, August 19th, September 16th, October 21st and November 18th. There will not be a December Class.

The Diabetes-Stress Connection
Diabetes and Wellness Support Group
Class Dates/Times: The second Wednesday of the Month beginning Jan 11, 2023 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Topics will include diabetes self management and prevention, stress management, healthy eating, depression, sleep and more!
